About Us

J. Tuttle Maritime Books has been in business since 1980 and had inherited a business that the family started in 1946. We do not have an open shop but operate from our home with a stock of over 10,000 volumes. We sell via our paper catalogue, the internet, by fax and telephone. We can be reached between 10:00 am CST and 6:00 pm CST, Monday through Saturday.

Judith Tuttle is the primary owner of the business and is a member of the Antiquarian Booksellers Association of America (ABAA), the International League of Antiquarian Booksellers and the Midwest Antiquarian Booksellers Association. Previous to selling books full-time she was a librarian at the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
